iPhone 14 Pro Camera Glare

My photos look horrible.

Camera absorbs a lot of light.

I read some people with the same issue having their phone replaced. How does that work? I just got this phone when iPhone 14pro was first released… :(

look, exactly the same happened to me. To be honest their way of “helping” does not help you. They will do all they can before the offer you a replacement. My experience at the store was really bad (Apple store in SoHo) I still kept my cool; they told me “this is the last camera we have, and we can setup an appointment so we can replace your camera. If that doesn’t work we will go to the next step”. So I was, “ok, let’s do that”. Once I got out of there, it was a relief, I was, “fu.. this, I paid a lot of money for this phone, I paid for a new phone not a fixed phone”, so I called Apple directly the same night. They offered me a replacement. PLEASE NOTE that they have to put a hold on your CC for the price of a new phone plus 30 some dollars for shipping, but they do send you a new one (i think is a refurbished unit). I got mine right away and TRUST ME you will see the difference on the photos. So that is the only option unless you are ok with them disassembling you phone. I would suggest you do that. Lose screws and stuff, you know? :/

Good luck.

Note all warranty replacements may be new or remanufactured items, as is standard in the industry:

If during the Warranty Period you submit a claim to Apple or an AASP in accordance with this warranty, Apple will, at its option:

(i) repair the Apple Product using new or previously used Apple genuine parts that have been tested and passed Apple functional requirements,

(ii) replace the Apple Product with a replacement product of the same model (or with your consent a product that has the same or substantially similar features as the original product – e.g., a different model with the same features, or the same model in a different color) that is new or comprised of new and/or previously used Apple genuine parts and has been tested and passed Apple functional requirements, or

(iii) exchange the Apple Product for a refund of your purchase price.
