Why do I have to pay for Apple ID

Your Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services,

 like the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and more.

Seems you only pay for any subscriptions and purchases you make.

You can still use the Apple Music app without a subscription.

You navigate by using the tabs at the bottom of the screen

Check the music library to see what's there..

AppleIDs are free. Anyone can make one and they will only ever pay anything when they use their AppleID to make purchases in an Apple Store (App, Book, Music stores) or subscribe to a for fee service (like iCloud+).
