Health app

Hello

I have a problem with the Health app and the syncing process between Health App and Huawei Health, I think that this is a Apple health app problem because is syncing process.

In the Health app I have less steps than in Huawei using a Band 6 to count steps.(More accurate than a Phone to count steps) and the difference is like 3000 steps and that’s a lot.

I don’t know how to prioritize Huawei and the band or simply deactivate the steps count on iPhone.

Any solutions

Hello MaverickWalnut,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

We want to help get the steps showing from the resource you prefer. You can resolve the issue by prioritizing the data source in the order you want with these steps:

"Prioritize data sources

Here's how to choose the sources that Health uses first:

  1. Open the Health app, then tap the Browse tab.
  2. Tap a category, then tap a subcategory.
  3. Scroll down, then tap Data Sources & Access.
  4. Tap Edit.
  5. Touch and hold the Change Order button  next to a data source, then drag it up or down in the list.
  6. To turn off a data source so that it doesn't contribute any more data for that category, tap the checkmark next to the source.
  7. Tap Done.

If multiple sources contribute the same data type, then the data source at the top will take priority over other sources. Any new apps or devices that you add go to the top of the list automatically, above your iPhone or iPod touch."

This Apple Support page has the full details: Manage Health data on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Apple Watch - Apple Support

This should help you manage your Health data so your steps show from the resource or app you prefer.

Cheers!
