Presumably you refer to Credit Cards register as payment methods for your AppleID account. First note that you must always have at least one card registered to your account; additional cards that may be associated with your account can be easily deleted.
From iPad settings:
Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > Payment & Shipping > Edit - delete entries as required, then tap Done
