Night Shift

I use Night Shift on a schedule of Sunrise to Sunset.

Whenever my Mac goes to sleep or the display goes to sleep, when Night Shift is on, if I wake it up, I find that Night Shift has switched off automatically.

I have to go back into Settings > Displays > Night Shift and twice click on "Turn on until sunrise" to switch Night Shift on again.

This is annoying, does anyone know how I can fix this?
