Night Shift Won't Turn On

Night shift shows that it's on in the Control Center but the screen doesn't change it stays in day setting. I've tried turning it on/off, restarting my macbook, Location services and access to it, and time zone settings. Any idea what's going on? It's a MacBook Air 2015 with macOS Monterey 12.6.1

Night shift turns itself off after returning from Lock Screen I found a few reports of this issue and it seems Apple is ignoring all, even after people are telling that the suggested solutions are not resolving the issue. Maybe Apple can provide a permanent fix this time? This issue never happened to me before I switched to a Mac Pro 2019 (16") with Monterey 12.6.1 My Mac Pro 2019 has night-shift enabled and night-shift disables itself after it comes back from Lock Screen. Please see attached. This issue is very annoying. Night shift will re-enable only after if uncheck and check again "Manual: Turn on until tomorrow"

Night Shift problem after Ventura update I have a 14 inch 2021 Apple M1 Macbook Pro (bought in 2022). Recently I updated it to Ventura macOS. Since then, when it runs out of charge (so i assume goes to sleep), I have problems with night shift. I charge my laptop then turn my laptop back on. Night Shift will say enabled but it isn't actually working. The only thing that fixes it is clicking 'restart' to restart my whole laptop. This seems annoying and you lose the tabs that you had open etc. I don't think that it is a problem with location settings. I have my night shift set to custom and 13:00 to 12:59 so that it is on all day. I do have the 'dynamic wallpaper' that changes throughout the day. However, I had this wallpaper prior to the update and had no problem with night shift. Thank you for your help!

Night Shift I use Night Shift on a schedule of Sunrise to Sunset. Whenever my Mac goes to sleep or the display goes to sleep, when Night Shift is on, if I wake it up, I find that Night Shift has switched off automatically. I have to go back into Settings > Displays > Night Shift and twice click on "Turn on until sunrise" to switch Night Shift on again. This is annoying, does anyone know how I can fix this?

Nevermind! I figured it out with the assistance of a Night Shift query on here and one of the answers they got. Which was to create a second User profile. Then sign into said User profile and engage Night Shift. It worked like a charm! My Night Shift is now working as it was intended when I signed back in with my primary Admin user profile.
