Apple Watch SE (2022) Sleep Tracker doesn’t work

Hello,

My watch that I got two days ago does not track my sleep cycles but only when I was asleep based on the already provided time intervals.

In the Health app however under my profile > privacy > devices > Apple Watch - it doesn’t mentioned sleep tracking at all but everything else is there.

Health App > Browse > Sleep > Data Sources & Access - the Apple Watch is not there at all and I have no option to add it. As far as I’ve read online this should be the issue but can’t seem to find how to solve it.

Would someone be able to help?

Thank you!

It sounds like you don't have sleep tracking turned on. Go to your watch's Settings app and choose Sleep. Scroll down and make sure that Sleep tracking is toggled on. Also, verify that you have a Sleep Focus set-up (that's the do not disturb for sleep.)

Finally, open the Sleep app and create or modify your sleep schedule.

To get sleep data, your watch should have at least 30% of its battery charge remaining before you hit the sack so it can track sleep.

Good luck!
