Ask permission to purchase not working on phone

When my kids try to buy an app and get a notification to ask a parent, normally me, or my wife would have a message pop up on my phone, where I have to approve the purchase. Those have stopped working, maybe from what I can tell from the recent update? I still get them on my computer, but that’s very annoying since I am many times not with my computer. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps, and every setting is correct. Trust me, there’s nothing wrong with the settings. This appears to be a bug.
