Sony MSV Files

Does anyone know of a utility that will play or convert .msv files (recorded on Sony voice recorder). Last posts on this topic were over 10 yrs ago - I've found an old memory stick that has some audio files I would like to archive. Sony has a 'Hi-res Audio Player' app however it does not recognized the Sony .msv file format! Thank you.

Is XDCAM import broken? No Audio! Hi FCP'ers. After years of hassle-free importing of XDCAM footage, I found this past week that both QT Player and FCPX would not play or import clips with audio. I'm on 15.3.1, latest FCPX, and I have the latest Pro Video formats installed from November, and they allegedly support XDCAM just as before, but it seems that something is amiss. VLC player and the Sony XDCAM utilities play the clips fine just as they should, but the QT based stuff does not see any audio channels. Can I revert to a prior version of that codec from Time Machine? (How? Not sure how to find specific codec things, if thats even possible) Is something else possibly amiss? To be clear, this is basic XDCAM from EX1 and EX3 cameras in basic 1080p and nothing odd or bizarre or newfangled in any way. I've used footage from these cameras hundreds of times thru the years. Thanks for any advice.
