Screen Time Usage on macOS for YouTube sometimes >10h

Hey,

I'm using Screen Time on my Apple devices and have set certain limits to limit my time on social media. However, I'm currently experiencing a bug, which annoys me.

My Mac sometimes tracks usage for YouTube, although I'm sleeping. This night I was browsing YouTube from 0 am to 9 am while asleep. Unless I'm sleepwalking, there is something horribly wrong with ScreenTime on my Mac.

This issue persists since I bought this MacBook Air M2 in August. It happened on macOS Monterey and it still happens on macOS Ventura. The wrong screen time only gets tracked, while the Mac is sleeping. It does not make a difference if a YouTube tab is open or closed, while the Mac is sleeping.

I've reset ScreenTime countless times, however, this does not seem to solve the problem.

Yeah, I've already read the whole thread. It has nothing to do with my iPhone, if I view the screen time usage per device, I can see that my iPhone tracks correctly.

Screen time shows YouTube usage 24/7 but … - Apple Community

It could be another device like an iPhone. Try shutting down the iPhone and turning it back online. Settings -> General -> Shutdown. Hold side button to turn it back on.

Make sure you aren't logged into another device with iCloud that you forgot about. You can check your devices in Find My or iCloud.com website.
