Very quiet hissing sound when iPad is sideways

Recently I’ve been hearing a very faint hissing sound at the bottom of my iPad when I turn it sideways where the volume buttons are at the bottom of the iPad. It almost sounds like soda hissing. The bottom of the iPad isn’t hot at all so I’m not sure what it is. I’m not sure if that’s normal or not or if I should go and try to get it fixed.

You might be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad.

If service or repair is required, you’ll be in best possible place to explore your available options:
