Airdrop feature delivers to the Downloads folder.

Create an alias of the Downloads folder and leave it on your Desktop if that suits you better.

You can submit your Apple Feedback here: Product Feedback - Apple

Downloads>Control Click>Make Alias

Appreciate your response.However is there a way I can direct airdrop directly onto desktop --just to give me that option.
