timeline on iMovie had vanished

then I came here for an answer, went back and fixed it / found it, rather: Somehow the Project just showed a generic My iMovie with no timeline. Click on that, and then type in your title. , suddenly the timeline re-appeared. phew. I was almost resigned to re-do the whole birthday film for my mother's 80th... a very complex audio-visual. 35 minute project... So it is in there, just search for the title!
