AppleCare+ hardware coverage is for servicing

Apple Pencil¹
Apple‑branded iPad keyboard
Included USB cable and power adapter

AppleCare Products - iPad - Apple Using other keyboard cases will not invalidate AppleCare+, but that other keyboard is not covered.
