Iwatch 8 too fragile

This morning, my son put is iwatch8 to his wrist but accidentally, the watch fell on the floor.

Result : the glass behind the watch where you put the power magnet is partially broken.

My son started to cry, he worked hard to buy his watch 1 month ago and it is already broken.

You could say, that's not Apple fault but I found not fair to buy a 400 $ watch which is soo fragile she can brake when it fall from 1 meter height.

He contacted Apple chat and he was reply the repair will cost 350 €, soo the price of the watch !

I think it is a missconception of this watch which is too heavy and too fragile.

I have a 50 $ watch which has fallen several times and has never broken !

You can see the white crackles on the right on the picture.

I don't expect Apple to replace the glass for free but 50-100 $ would have been more fair.

Who can I get in touch in Apple to discuss about this issue ?
