Is apple watch screens really that fragile?

I just bought my apple watch se (2nd gen) 2 days ago. Today, I accidentally dropped my watch on the floor. It's not really that high. I'm 175cm tall and I dropped it above my hips. Really disappointed with the screen it got easily broke just like a 5-dollar watch.
