2 email addresses in app store

I'm looking for some support for some reason some of my apps have an extremely old email address in the app store for which I have no access to and can't recall the password. My apple id shows my correct email address and password so I can access things however when I want to update certain apps it has the old email as a default and requires the password with that email. How do I sort this? Any support or advise is really appreciated :)

Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. After deleting the apps, it may be necessary to restart the device/computer before you can download the apps again. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
