Cannot connect Samsung SSD (T7) to MacBook 2022 with M2 chip.

For some reason I cannot see SSD in my Finder.

I'm using usb-c cable, no external power required.

SSD blinks with red and blue lights.

I also have MacBook 16 Pro 2019 and there is no such problem there, everything ok.

What it might be?

MacBook Air, macOS 13.0

Hi dvasylenko,

Thanks for posting here in Apple Support Communities. Have you tried restarting your Mac since noticing this behavior? Have you ever been able to connect it to your new MacBook? Check out how to add the SSD using macOS Ventura here: Connect and use other storage devices with Mac

You'll also see where you should see your devices in Finder here: See the devices connected to your Mac

You can view icons for hard disks, external disks, CDs, DVDs, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and connected servers in the Finder sidebar or on your desktop.

In the Finder  on your Mac, choose Finder > Settings.
Click General, then select the items you want to see on the desktop.
For example, if you select “Hard disks,” icons for your hard disks appear on your desktop.
Click Sidebar, then select the items you want to see in the Finder sidebar.
Some items are listed below Favorites, and others are listed below Locations.

Have am great day.
