ios16.1.1 compatable with old and new devices?

Hi,

I have Iphone12mini and iPad Pro and also a mac mini late 2012 with Catalina

If I install iOS 16.1.1 will my Mac still be able to recognise my newer devices.

Everything currently works well with the last ios 15.7.1

Yes, your mac mini late 2012 with Catalina will still recognise your newer devices with iOS 16.1.1 and/or iPadOS 16.1.1.

No problem here anyway.
