mouse doesn't work
after erasing the desk, the Mouse not working when reinstalling OS X

Is it a wireless mouse? If so, use the cable used to charge the battery and the computer should then see it as a wired mouse. You will need to reset the wireless mouse in the Bluetooth section of System Preferences for it to be found.
