How to download iTunes on my mac to unlock my disabled phone

I need to unlock my iPhone XR that is disabled and I am unable to download iTunes on my mac.

I am having difficulty connecting my iPhone to my Mac. I have MacOS 13 and my iPhone is disabled. I cannot get onto iTunes to reset my phone and I do not see it come up under Finder. What else can I do? I want to reset the phone to enable it for my kids to use, but I cannot get it to appear when connecting to my Mac? Any suggestions
