iCloud Drive will not load via Safari or Chrome

Hello all!

I have been trying to access my iCloud Drive via icloud.com/iclouddrive, and the drive will not load. It simply spins, or the page becomes unresponsive. Does anyone have any tips to share? I've cleared my browser's cache.

I'm not particularly eager to hook up Drive to Finder because it takes up too much memory, so I use the website, but when it doesn't load, I can't access my files.

I tried to log into my Drive account from my iPhone, and again, Drive just spins. I can't get to my files.

I appreciate any help!

Set up new admin account insures and group Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support

And turn on icloud drive Set up iCloud on your Mac - Apple Support

Set up iCloud Drive on all your devices - Apple Support

Keep your files up to date and share them with iCloud Drive - Apple Support

If your files don't update to iCloud Drive

Check these things first:

Make sure that you have enough iCloud storage. If you need more space in iCloud, you can buy more iCloud storage or free up space by deleting content.
Sign in to iCloud on all of your devices and turn on iCloud Drive.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection on your Mac and on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Install the latest versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.
Create a new document and save it to see if it uploads to iCloud. If it does, see if your other documents start uploading.

If you tried these steps and your files still don’t upload to iCloud, stay signed in to iCloud and save your updated files to a different folder on your Mac or PC. Then contact Apple Support for more help.

The problem still persists. I can not set iCloud Drive on this computer because it takes a lot of storage so I need to use it vía safari and I still keep getting this (nothing), it is really frustrating:

I wish I had better news for you, but Apple engineers have been working on my issue since I posted this. I still don't have access via the web. I've done multiple rounds of developer logs and had many phone calls with support. If I don't hear back soon, I will request a credit on my bill for the months I haven't been able to access it.

I have the same issue. I recently upgraded to more storage and added family sharing. Perhaps that’s where the glitch occurred. I will similarly follow up with Apple support to see if there is a fix coming. Glad I’m not the only one!

I've been in contact with Apple since the end of November. The engineers *still* haven't fixed the problem. I did complain to Apple, who won't credit my account but said they would send me a free accessory of my choice valued at $300 or less when the problem gets fixed.

VERY annoying. I had to buy Google Drive storage because I needed cloud storage.

I have plenty of storage. I contacted Apple Support. The issue is still unresolved, but the engineers are working on it. Thank you.
