Trust this computer

Constant pop-ups saying Trust This Computer and wanting me to enter my passcode when my phone is not connected. It's an iPhone 12. Did the latest iOS update last night. I keep tapping Cancel, and it continues to pop up every 10 seconds or so. It Won't Stop! Please help.

I understand this should happen the first time you sync after updating but not every single time. I will connect the iPhone, go through the steps to "Trust This Computer', sync the iPhone, eject the iPhone, unplug it, then plug it right back in and get the 'Trust This Computer' alert yet again. Per Apple's support this should only happen "If you choose not to trust a computer". About the 'Trust This Computer' alert on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support "If you choose not to trust a computer, you block its access to content on your device. You'll see the trust alert every time that you connect your device to that computer." I followed the steps on the support article to "Reset Location & Privacy" and "Reset Network Settings" and still have this issue. I have spoke to several Apple Support reps on the phone who have agreed you didn not previously need to 'Trust This Computer' every time but were not able to resolve my issue. Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas for not having to 'Trust This Computer' every time?

Update your security settings-iphone passcode I have a red dot on my system settings (iMac running Ventura 13.4.1) asking me to update your security settings- an iPhone passcode protects access to your device and iCloud data. The problem I have is when I click the continue button, nothing happens. I have tried rebooted the computer, no change, and it will not let me change any other settings until this is done. Frustrating.

Annoying 'Trust this computer?' pop-up when charging iPhone My iMac has a 10 port powered USB 3.0 hub attached. I plug my iPhone into the powered hub to charge it. I’ve have started getting a window pop up every time I plug in my iPhone regarding backing it up. I have to clear it by entering my passcode on my iPhone which now says “Trust this computer?”. I enter the passcode and it disappears. Five minutes later it does it again. And again five minutes later. In fact it will go on doing this for a long as I’m charging my iPhone and it interrupts at awkward moments such as in the middle of typing an email or, during a phone call and I am referring to stuff onscreen on my iMac. On my iMac, is it possible to suppress this? I understand it asking me once. I don’t understand why it needs to pester me with this every few minutes. It’s a right pain.

In order for it to stop, you must enter your iPhone passcode and complete the verification
