I have been trying to get Facebook messenger working on my iPad Pro. It just loads the screen but blank with a spinning wheel. As ever no help from facebook support but have had great help on here. I have uninstalled facebook and messenger, restarted the iPad then re-installed them. Still the same issue. iPad is running latest iOS and obviously facebook and messenger are also up to date.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Got it working at last. Have the facebook and messenger app installed on the iPad. Delete the facebook app then log into the messenger app, it starts working. Then install the facebook app and they are now both working 🎉

There are many reports of issues with FaceBook Messenger. Many users also report that deleting both the FaceBook and FaceBook Messenger Apps from the iPad, prior to restarting and reinstalling the Apps, will resolve the problem:

Same. Ditched the app. Restarted. Reloaded. Multiple times. Brand new iPad running latest iOS. Messenger won’t load.
