Send Mail Later Functionality Not Working

Hello, everyone... I just updated to Ventura 13.0.1 and was very excited to hear about the additional functionality in Mail, especially the Send Later feature. However, when I scheduled my first email to test it out, the scheduled time came and went without the email being sent. It just sat in the "Send Later" folder and never got sent even though the message was clearly scheduled for a later time. I verified the time was correct and even did another test to my personal email and it still didn't work.

To be clear, if the "Send Later" message is sent out, shouldn't the message move from the "Send Later" folder and into the "Sent" folder so the sender knows it was sent instead of sitting in the "Send Later" folder looking like it's still scheduled even though the time has passed?

Any ideas for what's going on and how to get this functionality working properly would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

I would reasonably expect point updates to follow the new Ventura macos 13.0.1 would sort these anomalies.
