2 mics at the same time in garage band

I have Wavo USB podcast mics and when I hook them both up and have each one as an input for the tracks it only records one input on both tracks. I have both tracks enabled to record, but they both record only one mic still.

garageband I am starting a podcast and I wish to record it on Garage Band. I have 2 sets of headphones and two USB in Mic's. I have a splitter for the two headphones to line in to the Mac OR I can jack straight into the Mic's. What I'm unable to do when my headphones are plugged in is hear my co-host talking to his mic on my headphones and Vise versa. is there a quick fix? Settings issue I'm unaware of? Garageband multitrack recording issue Hi - I'm fairly new to macs and Garageband (GB). I am trying to record with two microphones simultaneously through a (MOTU M6) multichannel interface. I have record enabled two tracks in GB and have asigned the correct input channel to each (1 and 3). I have also record-enabled each track (button goes black - but only when the track is selected) and can record each separately. However, when I try to record from both at the same time GB only records from the track that is highlighted. What am I doing wrong that stops simultaneous recording?

Will Garage Band for Mac Monterey record two separate tracks simultaneously from an audio interface like Focusurite 2i2? Focusrite 2i2 has two input channels, each with a preamp and controls. When connected to Garage Band for Mac, will Garage Band allow two new audio tracks to be created with each recording a single input from Focusrite 2i2 at the simultaneously? Example: Voice is into input 1, guitar is in input 2. Can those separate inputs also be separated to two tracks on GarageBands while playing through them at the same time? I know both inputs can be recorded to one track, but what about isolating what is going into the inputs onto two audio recording tracks to two recording tracks? Possible? If so, what buttons to push to get there?
