Mac Applications (ex. Opera GX) deleting themselves

I have been using Opera GX as my main browser on my (M1) Mac (Monterey) for about two months, and it has worked just fine. Then at around 1:30 PM PST on Nov 8th, it closed and deleted my desktop shortcut. When I went back and reinstalled it from the dmg, it restored all of my tabs and save information from the cache. I've found through experimentation that it also affects Opera and Opera beta, but not Opera Neon. It deletes every 2 minutes (for example, some days it'll uninstall every odd minute, or every even minute, 30 seconds in) on the dot. I've cleared the cache, went through the files in Library, and I've found no problem. What's going on?
