Red dot on phone app

Since latest update I seem to have red dot on phone app I have no missed calls and don’t seem to be able to delete

Turn missed recent calls from red to black to keep record without distracting red. Missed recent phone calls are shown in red, which is fine as a way to draw attention to them. However, the only way I see to get rid of the red once I have seen the missed call is to delete it, and I don’t want to do this as I want to keep a record of missed calls for a few weeks. Does anyone know of a way to do this? thanks

If you mean the red notification dot, close the phone app completely and restart your phone and see if it goes away.
