when I put events in my iPhone calendar, it doesn’t sync with my iPad. Online support sites say to click on calendars at the bottom and then the “i” button next to the calendar I want to share and then click on invite. All I see after clicking the i is the calendar name, the color and event alerts. There is no way to add someone. On my ipad, I have the invitee option, but NOT ON MY IPHONE. CaN anyone tell me how to do this? I have iOS 16 on my iPhone.

Is the calendar one you created on your iPhone, or was it a subscription you enrolled in from someplace like a website? If it is a calendar you made, and both devices are signed in to the same iCloud account, then so long as Calendars is selected under Settings > your name > iCloud, then the calendar should synchronize.
