I have updated to iOS 16 but messenger now no longer notifies when a message arrives. I've tried rebooting, deleting the app and reinstalling and testing all open notifications. My friend uses iOS 15, the notification is still normal. Hope apple f

Let's check your notification settings to ensure they are set to how you want to them to be.

"Tap an app below Notification Style, then turn Allow Notifications on or off.

If you turn on Allow Notifications, choose when you want the notifications delivered—immediately or in the scheduled notifications summary—and turn Time Sensitive Notifications on or off."
