Trust This Computer

How do you stop the "Trust This Computer" prompt every time the iPad and iPhone are connected to the computer? The iPad Air 5 and iPhone 12 are running the latest iOS/iPad OS although the 2013 iMac will only update to Catalina.

I have tried all steps listed at HT202778 "About the 'Trust This Computer' alert on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" multiple times with no change.

I understand this should happen the first time you sync after updating but not every single time. Per Apple's support this should only happen "If you choose not to trust a computer". About the 'Trust This Computer' alert on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support "If you choose not to trust a computer, you block its access to content on your device. You'll see the trust alert every time that you connect your device to that computer." I followed the steps on the support article to "Reset Location & Privacy" and "Reset Network Settings" and still have this issue. I have spoke to several Apple Support reps on the phone who have agreed you didn not previously need to 'Trust This Computer' every time but were not able to resolve my issue. Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas for not having to 'Trust This Computer' every time?

Trust computer with iPhone or iPad - OVER and OVER Why do I have to keep trusting my computer EVERY time I connect my iPad and iPhone. I am not busing any VPN and my computer is a Mac Mini.

Trust This Computer Since upgrading to Ventura, iPas OS15.1 and IOS 16.1, every time I put my iphone or ipad back on the charger and a backup/sync initiates I get a Trust this computer prompt asking for the passcode. Why won't the system remember the Trust response for next time around?
