That printer was discontinued by Samsung, and it doesn't look like they or HP have published a printer driver for several years. You could try using the 10.10 driver.

The problem is that some older printer driver package downloads do not open/work/install under some of the latest operating system versions, even though a contained printer driver as such may be compatible. Matti Haveri (see the aforementioned link) appears to have carried out extensive tests with this very printer, the ML-1675, so the best way would probably be to ask him for advice. Good luck!

Is the menu populated with other choices and the PS ppd is not there? If the menu is blank, you need to select the printer to add, then the menu should populate. If the menu is populated and the PS ppd is not there, maybe the printer doesn't support PS? What choices are there after selecting the printer?

When you are adding the printer, select "Generic PostScript PPD" from the "Use" menu at the bottom of AddPrinter' window. This may allow you to print, but you won't have any of the vendor options.
