Siri can’t send sms to Android phone
Hi, I can’t get Siri to send a text message to an android phone after updating to IOS16. Before I updated to IOS16 there was no problem.
Please help.

To start, let’s try to restart the iPhone. We understand that this seems like a simple step, but it can resolve many unexpected behaviors.
Are you able to send regular SMS messages when typing? This would be messages that show up in green and are to non-Apple devices. If not, you will want to reach out to your carrier to ensure everything is correct on their end.
If you can send SMS messages when typing them out but not when using Siri, the next step would be to reach out to Apple Support here: Contact - Official Apple Support
