iPhone 8Plus Calendar repeat every 28 days

I need to be able to be reminded to order a repeat prescription every 28 days

NOT every month

NOT every 1st Monday of month

I have seen several YouTube videos and read numerous blogs but they all seem to miss the point

One person seems to think there is an option in calendar to repeat “ every 4 weeks “, this would be ideal for me but the option is not available on my iPhone 8 Plus

At the moment I have to repeat every 2 weeks then laboriously delete every 2nd entry

There must be a better way?

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. We can help you make this happen. Let's try these steps.


  1. Open Calendars
  2. Select your start date for your every 4 week event
  3. Tap the + in the top right
  4. Name your event
  5. Tap Repeat
  6. Tap Custom
  7. Tap Frequency > Weekly
  8. Tap "Every" > Scroll to 4
  9. Tap your event name in the top left
  10. Tap add


This should make your event set to every 4 weeks.
