how to add a recurring event to an iPhone Calendar that repeats every five years?

I am trying to add an event to my iPhone's Calendar, to remind me to renew my driver's license every 5 years.

I selected Custom as the Repeat type, set the Frequency to Yearly, however, the Calendar app only allow setting yearly repeats with a maximum interval of 1 year.

I tried the Frequency set to Daily, or Weekly, or Monthly, all allow me to pick different intervals.

My phone is iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS version 18.3.

Pleae help.

Thank you.

Instead of a calendar event create a Reminder. I just tried, and choosing Custom, Yearly, you can choose a number of years. And with iOS 18 you can have reminders appear in the Calendar app.

It may not be needed; where I live I get a reminder from the DMV about 4 months ahead.
