Apple setup apps randomly intruding into other apps

Can someone at Apple please fix this issue? I have been playing a game of bricks over a weeks time in 10 to 20 minute intervals. I had amassed about 3 hours over 7 days of play on a single session. When you close the app it pauses the game. As with many games that work in a clock, an intrusive interruption from another app can hinder the game however at least pauses the session. After I did the update to version 16 yesterday, today an Apple social app took over my entire screen and didn’t close my game. I quickly tried to close out of the app to get back to my game to see my weeks work was lost and the game was ended or lost due to inaction. This is my first post here because I find this tactic from Apple to interrupt anything else you are doing to upsell their services as something that has to be fixed to ended. Samsung looking kind of good right now.

Apple is trying their new social connection app that randomly starts in the middle of what you’re doing without pausing your current app. FaceTime or a phone call or or text message will sit in the background until you click on it. Once you click on those your app you were on will pause if it was an active game. The Apple social connecting app is a new thing or at least to me. Seems like they are trying to compete with Facebook or something for social connections. I closed it really fast to get back to my game but I was too late.
