Notes, copy paste doesn't work

Copy & paste does not work within Notes. Using copy & paste, different text from elsewhere in the note will be pasted and not the one I marked.

• This issue starts after some time once I started the app, anywhere from 10 min. to 2 hrs; I couldn't pinpoint the cause.
• I couldn't link the issue to a specific other app that might interfere, either.
• Once I restart the app, copy & paste works fine - until it doesn't as mentioned before.
• This problem exists for some time now (probably two or three years) across different OSs, currently running Ventura 13.0 on MacBook Air 2018.

Tbh, I am a little disappointed that Apple wouldn't be able to fix such a basic problem like Copy & Paste.
