The Apple TV app on Apple devices supports AirPlay instead of Chromecast; a different and competing protocol. The latter is not supported for this app.

How do I Chromecast new Android Apple TV app? I installed the new Apple TV app on my Android phone because I wanted to Chromecast it to my TV, but for some reason I can’t make it work. I don’t think my phone is broken. Netflix Chromecasts from this phone, as do Mubi, Prime Video, Tele2, Viaplay, Youtube, SVT, TV4 and every other video streaming app I’ve tried, EXCEPT the new Apple TV one. Why doesn’t Apple TV work with chromecast? Why doesn’t Apple TV work with chromecast? Literally every other streaming platform does. I will not continue pay for this service if I cannot cast it to my television

I can’t cast from Apple TV on iPad to chromecast Is this issue worked on ? It works from Netflix, Disney+, prime video, but not from Apple TV.
