Why doesn’t Apple TV work with chromecast?

Apple and Google have always been fierce enemies. Instead of prioritising it’s users freedom to watch it wherever they want (remember you pay for it), Apple choose to block the steaming of Apple TV on the Google’s device as a way of not allowing the competitor to have access to its users data on the streaming service. We can call the move CrApple. Disgusting!

This was one of the things I really liked about Apple TV was the ability to login on their app and rent a movie.

with this move it’s forced me to now rent from prime or google as I’m not buying an Apple TV just for this. Seems a good way to lose revenue and force some loyal customers to try rival brands, who knows my brand loyalty may change!
