Removing split screen on iPad 9th generation
iPad 9th generation; split screen opens when I click on a link; how can I remove it and get it to open to full screen?

You need to explore multitasking - as you have a slide-over view of Safari enabled. Key to accessing and controlling multi-tasking is the small “three-dot” button that is found at the top-centre edge of the screen.
