While gifting apps, is it necessary that the receivers email has to be his/ her Apple ID? Or can we send the apps to their personal email id? If the receiver doesn’t use their Apple ID as their email id, then how will they receive the gifted app?

The Apple ID and/or email that the recipient uses to sign in to the App Store and iTunes Store (is the App Store and iTunes Store account) is lead.
Because the credit of the gift card will be / is added to the App Store and iTunes Store account of the recipient.
