Gifting procreate for iPad?

I wanted to gift procreate for iPad. Not give a gift card which I find impersonal. Why can't we just open the app store online and do this? Writing the code for it should be easy and straightforward. I would send it via email or another common way to connect. Think about it. You are losing revenue. I don't get it as a choice on my phone, nor my iPad. I own procreate on my iPad already. Why should I not be able to give to a friend?
