Error when trying to download multiple photos from Shared Library on icloud.com

When trying to download photos from icloud.com, I'm noticing this:

Works fine in "Personal Library" - for single or multiple photos (a zip file gets downloaded in the case of multiple photos).
When using my "Shared Library" - works ok for downloading single photos, but when selecting multiple photos, I keep getting this icloud.com error "Photos could not be downloaded at this time due to an error. Please try again later." I tried this in Chrome and Edge browsers (on Windows 10).

Seems like a bug?

Hey TheDax,

First, we'd recommend reviewing the information in this article as it provides steps and tips for downloading photos from iCloud on Windows: If your iCloud Photos aren't loading on your PC - Apple Support

If that doesn't help, we'd recommend temporarily disabling any anti-virus, security software, or VPNs that you may be using on your PC as they could be interfering with the download.

You may also want to try testing on another device to see if the same issue occurs.

Hi WinsC1,

I'm talking about icloud.com, not iCloud for Windows :)

Anyway, two days ago I called Apple Support about this issue and they confirmed it's a bug, and that they're working on it.

I've checked just now and it seems to be working. So I guess they fixed the bug.
