I don't like the basic keyboard that came with the iMac 27" and I want the Magic Keyboard with ID. It's telling me that it's not "compatible " is this true? or will it work? thank you!

If you have an intel Mac, the Touch ID will not work. This feature only works on Macs with Apple Silicon chips. For the rest, it will function like any other keyboard
