No one will know here for sure. Contact the place where you purchased the iPhone from and ask them whether there is such a policy and whether you can benefit from it.

Contact Flipkart:

Apple would play no role in the return of a third-party company. So, contact that company seeing if it sill go through.

That only applies if you bought it from Apple or an authorized reseller.

Flipkart is not an authorized reseller so the information you posted does not apply.
