MacBook Pro M2 Air HDMI outputting stuttered sound.

I am experiencing this on the M2 Air (Monterey 12.5.1). HDMI display plugged in (USB-C to HDMI Cable) and the monitor/tv audio stutters ... works find when sound output is set the Macbook Air Speakers.

Reboot with cable plugged in does resolve this.

The fix is to simply reboot macbook having the HDMI device plugged in As simple as that. I dont know if there's an official fix for that, but for me and couple of my friends this worked.

Stuttering Sound When I Plug Macbook Pro M1 (14-inch, 2021) into TV via HDMI When I try to plug my Macbook Pro M1 (14-inch, 2021) into a TV via HDMI the audio that comes through the TV is always stuttered/glitchy. The picture is great though. I've tried multiple HDMI cord and none work. However, they do work with other laptops. I'm currently running Monterey version 12.6. This is pretty frustrating as one of the big pluses of this version of the Macbook is the HDMI port. I also heard about a temporary fix that if you plug in the HDMI cable and have the audio output set to the TV/monitor, then restart your Mac (with the cable still plugged in) and when it reboots the sound should play without stuttering. This however did not work for me.

Distorted sound after Update to Ventura 13.4 Hi there, after a recent update to my MacBook Pro (to Ventura 13.4) all sound sources produce a distorted sound. This includes internal speakers, external speakers and headphones. I also tried different sound sources, even the start up sound breaks up. Any thoughts?
