Why does audio stop when iphone 14 pro goes to Lock Screen?

Why does audio stop when iphone 14 pro goes to Lock Screen? This was never an issue with previous iOS. The music from iTunes, downloaded songs, voice memos, Notes Audio STOP when Phone goes to Lock Screen. This shouldn't happen. You want the phone on lock screeen to save battery and so you dont accidentally hit a button while important notes, and audio are playing. I saw questions about this back in 2021 but no answers??? Help please, love the Apple products and support.

If audio on your iPhone stops when locking the screen, you'll want to start by making sure it's updated to the latest iOS version, which is iOS 16.1.1. If your iPhone is updated to iOS 16.1.1 and this behavior continues, you'll want to try restarting your iPhone to see if that resolves the issue for you. To restart your iPhone, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.

2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.

3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.
