trying to update older mac with new ios

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

MacBook Pros don't run iOS, they run Mac OS and Windows.


MacBook Pro 2017 or later can go on the App Store to download Ventura.

MacBook Pro 2015 or later can go on the App Store to download Monterey

MacBook Pro Late 2013 or laterc go on the App Store to download Big Sur.

MacBook Pro Mid 2012 or later can get Catalina.


Note all of the above operating systems require 64 application and driver updates first before upgrading the operating system.


Use the above link for Ventura to pick the operating system you desire to look at if your Mac is older and can't download Catalina.
