Don't want to hide my email, and I don't want to send them from an old address!

Hey there. Just updated to Ventura and now Mail isn't letting me send emails from my iCloud.com account. I can do it in Safari, but Mail gives me just two options: an old email I'm keeping open for security reasons and "Hide My Email." I went to settings and then composing and then "Send new messages from" and lo and behold, there is no option there for selecting my iCloud address. What to do?

Make sure you are logged in to your iCloud account correctly in System Settings->Apple ID and that iCloud Mail is turned in in System Settings->Apple ID->iCloud->iCloud Mail

You may need to turn it off, and back on if it's already on.
