Restore ios 15 on iPhone 12

I recently updated to ios 16.2. To keep it short, it’s not up to my standard and I find it counter intuitive at best (MS level) If I restore to iOS below do I loose important security updates?

Reinstall latest iPhone (iOS) Software Update Can I reinstall an iOS update on my iPhone? On a MacBook, the latest macOS Ventura software update can be re-downloaded from the App Store. Not previous versions, but a repeat of the latest update, if you question there to be any vulnerabilities and want to try to "repair" any potential broken or deleted files?
